42 YEARS OF SERVICE TO NORTHERN OCONTO COUNTY 1968-2010

2010 35th Annual Red Arrow Fish A Ree
& Vintage Snowmobile Show was a huge success....Thank you!!!!

Our 35th annual Fish A Ree was a great success. With 5 other events in the area and the Daytona 500 on Sunday we were a little apprehensive....especially with the current state of the economy.  Not to worry...we had a huge turnout on Saturday and a smaller but equally enthusiastic group on Sunday. Thank you to all of our businesses that supported us with prizes, our club members who worked so hard and of course to all of you who attended the event. A list of the  winners of our main raffle prizes follows:

$500.00 of gas donated by Townsend Shell                         David Pitterle of Lakewood
Mossberg Turkey Gun from Pintsch's Hardware                     Wanda Laste of 262 area code
Collector Print donated by Citizens Bank                            Mike Holawinski of Hortonville
$100.00 Savings Bond donated from Laona State Bank            John Flesih of Elkhart Lake
$100.00 of groceries donated by Mike's Supermarket            Eric Christianson   no address given
$50.00 Gas Cards from Townsend Shell                            Jean Hayes of Green Bay
Roland Fischer of Townsend, Don Pautz of Townsend, Lovi Rademaker of Kaukauna and Mark Barth no address

Plans are already in place for the 2011 event. It will be held February 12th & 13th. Next year that will be the week after the Super Bowl and the week before the Daytona 500 so start planning now to attend.

Scott Wagner of Green Bay won the $100.00 prize for the biggest fish of the weekend...a 12# 13 oz Northern that measured 35 inches long
Tim Braun of Manitowoc took the top bass prize on Saturday with this 6# 0oz beauty. The Sunday largest bass was caught by Riley Hoffman of Townsend at 6# 12oz.
Vintage sleds turned out in force for the Fish A Ree. There were many beautifully restored machines of many makes and models.
This matching color Johnson Skee Horse sled and sleigh was displayed by Jim & Kathy Bailey of Palos Hills, Il. It has been in the family for many years.
A small part of the enthusiastic crowd that supported the event. All proceeds go back to our trail grooming & equipment fund
Tired but happy club members celebrate after cleaning up the town hall Sunday night. All agreed it was a great event!!
