It was held Monday November 28th, Tuesday November 29th and Thursday December 1st at the Townsend Town Hall on Hwy 32 in Townsend. Remember anyone born after January 1st, 1985 must take the course to ride legally in Wisconsin...DNR Wardens are very firm on enforcing this requirement of the law!!!
ATTENTION All Recreational Safety Students
New Requirement: All WI Recreational Safety Students are required to obtain a WI DNR Customer ID Number before the completion of any Recreational Safety Class and will also be required to provide that WI DNR Customer ID Number along with students personal information to the instructor. You can obtain a WI DNR Customer ID Number 7AM to 10PM by calling the WI DNR Customer Service at 1-888-936-7463 or you can visit a WI DNR Service Center during their regular scheduled hours. Red Arrow Snowmobile ATV Club strongly supports all riders taking the ATV and Snowmobile Safety courses. These courses are required for all snowmobilers born after 12-31-1984 and ATV'ers born on or after 1-1-1988. Classes are scheduled and posted on the DNR website. Applicants for classes must pre-register on line by cutting and pasting to your browser the link that follows.

Thanks to the Townsend Fire Department for the use of thier facility. Also thanks to DNR Warden Joe Paul who attended and reviewed safety and riding rules. Finally thanks to Dale Ott, Jim Weyers, Roger and Lucas Steinbach and John Brantmeier who taught the course with help from club members Jim Wisneski and Tim Brooks.
